Sarah and Stephan at Zingerman's Events on Fourth, White Wedding Flowers
As you will see below I am OBSESSED with the floral wreath made this weekend for Sarah and Stephan's classy white wedding at Zingerman's Events on fourth. Sarah has the prettiest taste very clean and bright all roses, ranunculus and hydrangea designed in 10" long 4" wide clear glass rectangular vases with faux aspidistra leaves to hide the stems.
I used Alicia Schwede's white rose study from her epic florist blog Flirty Fleurs I mixed Tibet, Eskimo and White Dove roses. the Tibet were by far my favorite for size, color and petal count.
Love the all brick with simple beautiful light garland at Zingerman's on Fourth in Kerrytown. This little venue accommodates 60-80 and is perfect for small weddings or rehearsal dinners, showers etc. The events coordinator for Zingermans, Patti Wheeler, is completely delightful, all my clients rave about how great the service is and how wonderful Patti is to work with.
Sarah's bouquet was a small elegant white rose and ranunculus bouquet that really complemented her gorgeous gown from The Gown Shop in Ann Arbor.
LOVE This photo (above) a preview from the talented Heather Jowett Photography
And no wreath obsession would be complete without two more photos these two on the front door of my house before we went on delivery.... okay and and two more from inside the house
what can I say :) My wise and talented florist friend Janet of Floral Verde (see her insanely gorgeous work here) Once told me that you only need to post one great view of each design not 20 photos from 20 different angles and I try to keep that in mind but this wreath pushed me over the edge.

University of Michigan Museum Of Art (UMMA) Fall flowers Congrats Lindsay and Mark!
I am so found of the color pallet for this wedding at UMMA in Ann Arbor. It was the perfect combination of muted fall flowers including soft blue thistle, viburnum berries, rust cymbidium orchids, pale taupe sahara roses, david austin patience garden roses (cabbage roses) and white ranunculus accented with loose organic textures of seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus and blush pink astilbe.
Congratulations Lindsay and Mark it was an honor to design for your wedding!! |
