On a Blurry in May
Yikes I think I got a picture of the Ether :) It was a blurry day in May when my precious Kodak-chrome bit the dust.... So I tried to shoot this arrangement using the camera built into my laptop, not so good. Oh well I guess even cameras go the way of all flesh.
These flowers were arranged as a donation for Molly Barker the founder of Girls on the Run. They held a fundraiser gala at Webber's Inn and wanted to have nice flowers to greet their mentor when she arrived.

Audition Flower Arrangement for an Ann Arbor Wedding
This arrangement was created as an audition for a wedding this fall. It is funny to realize that every time I meet a new customer it is like interviewing for a job. I actually love this it leaves no time to get comfortable I have to always be at the top of my game! My favorite thing about this arrangement is I got to pick all the flowers out myself :) Here is the run down: Parrot tulips, euphorbia, dusty miller, dahlia, ranunculus, veronica, and that other thing that I have to go look up now......

Whole Trade Roses
Sweet Pea loves fair trade roses!! Besides being beautiful they are responsible. I source mine from Whole Foods Market, WFM has been so nice as to travel all the way out to Quito, Ecuador and set up this arrangement with local farmers.
Whole Trade Guarantee promises that every product meets the following criteria:
- Meets Whole Food's high quality standards
- Provides more money to producers
- Ensures better wages and working conditions for workers
- Cares for the environment
"Workers’ committees are using the premium to provide dental, medical and pediatric care, nutritional programs, literacy programs…the list goes on. Improved housing was a key project for every committee that we met."
Please request these roses from us for your wedding if this kind of thing floats your boat and read more about it on the WFM blog They are more expensive but its only fair :)
